If you can't get one to work, try another to make sure it's not the mod itself with the problem. Make sure the first one works before installing additional ones. Try installing only one and see if it works.

If you're downloading your mod from simtropolis, make sure you've signed in to your account.

If it comes with a readme.txt file make sure to check that out to make sure there's not some other process.
